Our Story
Founded in 2014 by Caroline Murray, Calm Engineering has evolved from a small local consultancy to a thriving multifaceted agency, employing highly skilled partnership organisations and bringing together multiple stakeholders in an environment that enables purposeful and efficient collaboration for the benefit of local communities.
In the early days, we provided land drainage and flood risk consultancy advice to a variety of small local community stakeholders. As our reputation grew, we needed to adapt the way we worked and the breadth of the services we provided to meet our new client’s needs. Over the years we’ve built strong collaborative partnerships with other like minded specialist engineering consultancies which has enabled us to expand our business and provide a multi-disciplinary team to deliver our services.
Our goal is to create living spaces that embrace and nurture our natural surroundings, reconnecting communities to the water environment and embracing the positive changes this has on mental wellbeing. Green spaces are at the heart of what we do; the belief that these areas should be invested in, protected and designed with a singular passion and attention to detail is at the core of what Calm Engineering stands for.
